Took a chance. Used the 600d instead of full frame, if the sensor was going to melt, I'd rather it on the cheaper camera. Think it was worth the risk, no issue with the camera either.
Used a BW ND 10-stop, high shutterspeed, closed aperture (F7.1) 200mm lens. Easier to post one collage rather than all the individual images.
Just layered on the pre-eclipse shot I done as a test, then used the screen layer option for the black sky to disappear. I might try a few different layouts and hopefully punt a few prints out
