Got home from work this evening and my daughter had "saved a ladybird for me" in an empty bottle. I took it outside and put it on the apple tree and after a few minutes it settled down and decided to pose a moment or two. It did fly off soon enough, over the fence toward the conifers, and away it went.
Time enough to get a few shots off, though the failing light and being in the shady area of our little garden meant I had to use the ringflash off camera to add in some fill light.
Three extension tubes on the Sigma 105 lens.
CC as always.
