Tog wanted in Dorset!

OK, here's the crack: I play in a rock band and on November 19th we'll be playing in our local pub for a chrity night (chrity in question is help for heroes). I'm after someone to come and take a few pictures on a sort of TFCD basis. When I say sort of TFCD, we'd only need 5 or 10 images from you, with permission to use them in print and on the Army website. I should be able to sort out unrestricted access to the band while we're playing, and possibly even sort out a few free beers too...

The pub is Cloud's Hill Pub, in Bovington. If you're unsure of the location, google Bovington Tank museum, it's just up the road from it.

I realise it's cheely asking, and I apologise for that. Normally we'd be able to get someone from our garrison media support, but it's not an official Army gig so we can't.

Its a little to far from me I'm afraid, would have done it otherwise.;)

Clouds hill is the place where T.E Lawrence lived as well isn't it?
(Worth going just for that.)

Clouds Hill is TE Lawrence's cottage, it's actually a few miles out of Bovington. Cloud's hill pub is a boozer named in his honour just on the edge of the garrison. I've not visited the cottage myself, but I hear it's rather disappointing if you make the journey just for that. A few miles down the road you can find his grave too...if you know where you're looking :lol:

Trev, good stuff. I can probably only get access and drinks for one tog though I'm afraid. I'll PM you with more details once confirmed (I think I maybe have got the date wrong for one thing :lol:)

We visited both the Tank Museum & the grave. Didn't have time to visit the house.

We stay at warmwell everyear, which is very close to where he is buried.
Hope you get your tog anyway.;)

I got the date wrong, it's actually November 14, not 19 as stated.
 
FYI - that's the same day as the Brecon Beacons TP Meet
But if you need a tog I will cry off; help for heroes is worth supporting.

I've done OK this year - Took photos for the local folk festival and a couple of bands asked to use my images on their next album. I normally do abstracts and landscapes but I love a challenge!
