Reading 'tog' as an abbreviation for 'photographer' drives me mad and I don't know why.

Just thought I'd like to share.

It is quite a lot easier than typing 'photographer' though isn't is?! I'm not one for text speak, but I think the occasional abbreviation has it's place. After all, there are two in the original post! I suppose it would be equal to being bothered by reading "don't" instead of "do not", or "I'd" instead of "I would"....

Typing photographer is a bit more difficult though, if you're a bit thick.

Rubbish isn't it? Some made-up acronym that means nothing to others and can only confuse.

I'm with Mike. I suspect it is easier for the somewhat thick to type probably just before they spell 'lens' with an additional 'e'.
