Hi, just got this for my D90, the autofocus puts a plane behind the focus point in focus, but not the focusing point. I had this shipped to Sweden from HDEW cameras and shipping it back for a replacement would be expensive from here. Any ideas on if I can correct this myself please (using camera settings not taking things a apart.

The D90 doesn't have auto focus fine tune, so it'll be alot harder than if it did. Is it majorly out? Could you manually focus, the lens is so wide that it won't be hard too.
 
Thanks Stu. I can manually focus, especially for its primary use as landscape lens- but for portrait-type shots wide-ish open I'm having pot luck getting faces in focus manually (prob due to my lack of practice using manual focus!)
