Tokina 11-16

anyone got any positive to say about this lens for my Nikon D3300,any other options would also be looked at if recommended

It's an excellent lens, but if you want auto focus get the mkII version (the latest one).

It's a good solid lens and as Paul says the mkII has the auto focus motor and also better coatings to reduce flare. It's still flares a lot at night if there are any bright light sources in the shot though. £279 from HDEW which is a good price for new.

Yes I had this on my d3100 loved the lens, mkii version is what your after!!!! The 2.8 comes in handy for astro photography aswell!!!

Fantastic lens. Zoom range is limited, but that's the only downer. Loved shooting landscape with it on my d5500.

Yes I was using a 10 stopper on it regularly.

Take a look at the Tokina 11-20mm lens similar build and f2.8 but more range.
