To be honest I don't have the skill to really put the lens through a good testing but I couldn't not take the new lens out for a quick play this morning, first impressions (given my limited skills/capability) are that it really is sharp (for an UWA) and certainly seems to be able to give the highly regarded 11-16 a run for its money!

Here are a few quickly taken to show the general level of sharpness/quality, f2.8 seems pretty good but at 4.5/5.6/8 it really seems pretty faultless even towards the corners (in my eyes anyway) @ f22 it is much much softer but to be expected I guess.

The flare is certainly a problem in the hut with the parrot but the one below it's quite interesting and would enhance some photos. Is the difference the aperture or the position of the sun, top right compared to central or a combination of both?

It's going to be soft at f/22 because you've introduced diffraction! On a crop don't you shouldn't need any more than f/11, max.

I didn't even know they made an 11-20! How much is it please?
