I have a Tokina 12-24 that needs repairing as the aperture blades are stuck.
I have contacted Kenro and they say they charge £84+vat plus parts:thumbsdown:

Just wondered if anybody has had one repaired in the past and how much it cost them?

Given the cost of repair do you reckon it's worth doing or should I sell it as faulty on ebay and look around for a 2nd hand replacment?

Cheers

Personally, if its a lens i liked and used, I'd get it fixed. Good second hand ones are around the £300 mark, no idea what you'd sell it for as faulty, you could be lucky and be quids in. On the other hand, state 'can be fixed for £100' and it might make people wonder why you didn't just do it, so is there something else wrong?
