Yes
As I'm looking to upgrade to FX soon I'm looking at my options on replacing my most used lens I had for the DX camera which was a Tokina 11-16mm. A brilliant lens. Has anyone any experience using this lens? Is it as good as the 11-16mm is for DX?

The tokina 12-24 is a great Len. I've had one in the past, however it's also a DX lens not FX so won't solve your issue.

If you want 12mm on full frame then the sigma 12-24 is the only option IIRC.

Got excited when I read FX and tokina...guess not.

Yes, that's right.

But if you're looking to replace an 11-16mm DX lens you don't need 12mm. You need something like 16-24mm. Obviously the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 is the best option, but it may not be within budget. What is your budget?

As already mentioned that lens (12-24) is a DX lens. Tokina do a very nice FX ultra wide, the 16-28mm f2.8 - I had one for a while and it is a lovely lens, but you can't use filters with it though which may or may not be an issue for you.
