Love these pics - #1 is my favourite - what a beautiful cat.

A truly stunning set in my eyes. Generally I am not a fan of captive animal shots, but these are different, all excellent images with great processing. No favourites for me apart from number one, :) they are all good and I enjoyed seeing them, cheers (y)

Thanks for all the kind comments guys and gals, they are all much appreciated (y)

Those ears look as though they should be pegged to the washing line. What had you said to him, Chris? ...... er, no, perhaps you'd better not tell us. ;)

Jean

LOL @ the washing line,
And sometimes its better not to know, Jean.
But it does seem to be a knack that I have ;)
I'm just glad there was some heavy mesh between "us" :D

To be completly honest about this set. I feel that I must say.

That I am very jealous :D

Oh very nice set by the way.(y)

Nice to see you haven't lost your touch in upsetting pooor critters :p
and you don't normally have to say a word to do it
I reckon the leopard is laughing at you though :D

Nice set Mr. Snake hard to chose a favourite (y)

Another soooooper set Chris. These wouldn't look out of place in any wildlife magazine.

When I first saw #1 I thought of the Pink Panther. Perhaps turning him/her pink....well just a thought.

Thanks once again, for the kind comments everyone.
They are much appreciated (y)

Stunning photos of some beautiful animals. My favourite is the cougar, love the regal pose you have captured.

How do you go about visiting the Cat Survival Trust?

You can join the trust and go that way,
but a lot of the best ones are behind double wire with a walk way in between.
A photographers nightmare :(

I went on an organised "experience day"
that way you can get right up against the second wire, which is still narrow
for the most part, but as you can see, its possible to get some half decent shots.
Here are a couple of links
that you might find useful
One

Two

(Not that I have any interest financial or otherwise
in either person.)

Love 'em all. Just can't stand domestic moggies, but the wild cats are something else.

Visited here back in June, was a wonderful day.
You were lucky enough to get that shot of the Clouded!

Thanks (y)
The Cloudie was quite happy to pose for us :)
( Actually it was being bribed with lumps of beef ;) )

Love the whiskeryness of #2 and the unmistakable emotion of the last shot. What exactly had you said to that cat?! We were at whipsnade yesterday and took your advice for seeing the lynx - and it worked. Thankyou for the tip. Fingers crossed I got some half decent shots - I don't think they will be anywhere near as good as these though!
