Tonight's flurry of activity...

Rain all day means there's little to do, and as night fell, it stayed rotten outside.

So I took a couple indoors before letting the cat in and I had a quick look outside at the rockery where in the rain I found a wet centipede (not the fast one!). Wet moss doesn't help despite diffusion on the flash!

It's safe to conclude that on the wet, the flash & the diffusion couldn't be controlled.

Looking better and better.... now wet means you need a new diffusion setup. It needs to be large but I guess you already know this

Centipede looks good and knife sharpener.

Some good shots Paul, the centipede shots are showing some very nice detail.

As you say the wet does very little to help diffuse your lighting.
