Critique Tonight's Sunset Long Exposure

Hello Guys

Took a walk with the misses and her daughter along the beach to get a nice sunset photo.

So used my ND110 filter and sigma 10-20mm

114 seconds
F/10
ISO 100

This photo came at a cost as my remote cable release fell in the sea and died

For a picture like that I would sacrifice a cable release.

I'm not the only one to drop the cable release into the water...phew.......Fantastic shot. The composition is very good.

Thank you. Yes it was a worth while sacrifice. But it cut the exposure slightly short as I was aiming for a 130 second exposure. As I had to recover it a touch in ps

It's still ok but you can tell a grains beginning to appear, which is indicative of exposure recovery.

Nice work mate! I'd clone out whatever's on the horizon about halfway in, catches my eye everytime I look down the groyne.
There looks to be a slight purple cast, from the filters perhaps?

Thats Dungeness.

And i added the cooler colour on the sea in as it was too orange from the B&W's cast and i felt it suited the image better.

Lovely, well worth the small cost of a remote release.
Nice colours, nicely blurred water and of course a great composition.
