Hi all,
Thanks to the responses from the members on here regarding my request for information about the EF100mm f2.8 macro, I managed to aquire one from a friend which arrived safely this morning!
It's been a long time since I bolted a macro lens on one of my cameras and it's definitely made me feel 'old'!
I must be taking in waaay more caffeine than I used to 'cos I was shaking terribly... Thank christ for my tripod, cable release and mirror lock-up!
Anyways, just wanted to say how chuffed I am with it... I'll get a few shots posted into the macro section later (if I can find it 'cos it's so small) but you'll have to go easy on me 'cos I'm more used to shooting people and landscapes!
