After months of watching a bucket load of auctions today, i decided to take the plunge and buy an M42 lens and an adapter of course. The lens I won is a 28mm f2.8, and no doubt after people see the item, I'll find out there's a reason I got it so cheap! (£7 + £8 P&P) It's marked up as "KENLOCK-Mc-tor" means nothing to me of course. Don't know if the link is any use to people

But anyway, I thought it was a cheap way to try it out first and get back in to the manual aperture and focus habit before blowing big bucks on a Carl Zeiss Jena or a Flektagon lens. I'll update people with some example shots when the stuff has arrived. Just want to say thank you to everyone who has answered all of my questions related to this topic over the past month or so. Your help has been invaluable, and I hope to fins success and continue this endeavour with other good lenses (I bottled an auction for a 135mm f2.8 and it ended up going for just £30.02!!!)
