Toploader / Holster type bag recommendation

I'm looking for a toploader / holster type bag to hold
1) Canon 6d with battery grip attached and canon 24-105 f4L lens attached
2) Canon 6d with battery grip attached and tamron 70-300 f4-5.6 VC USD lens attached

It has to be able to hold both these combinations but not at the same time is I just want this bag so it can hold my 6d with grip attached and one of the lenses at a time.

Looking for something like the lowepro toploader or think tank holster range. However most of these don't appear to hold a gripped camera unless the bag is very large (and aimed for a 70-200 f2.8 lens).

Ideally the bag should be as small as possible butneeds to hold the camera with grip.
Also looking for it to be as cheap as possible (ideally £30 or less).

Lowepro toploader 55 would be ideal but I think this only holds the camera without grip attached?

Think Tank Digital Holster 50 as for many in that range has a zippered expandable lower part to cater for different lens lengths and should hold a pro body.
 
I have one of these in a cupboard somewhere, believe its called a Lowepro TLZ AW.
This picture shows it with what looks like a camera plus grip, only used it a couple of times, but recall that a 5D and 24-105 went in with lots of room left.
If its of any interest could dig it out and have a measure (sorry, don't use a grip so can't test it) pretty sure it came with a waterproof cover and shoulder strap along with a harness type thing if you wanted to carry it on your chest.

Thanks - looks like it could be an option. From the dimensions the 40 and above should fit.

However they do seem fairly pricey, so I'll have to think about it

Are you thinking of selling at all?

From a quick Google I think this is an older model that has been replaced by the current toploader, but I don't think you can buy these now.

If you are interested in selling and wouldn't mind measuring the internal dimensions I'd probably be interested.

Hadn't thought about selling it Mike, in fact hadn't thought about it all until I saw your post, seeing as i'm not even sure exactly where it is means I could probably do without it.

Not surprised its been replaced, had it a while so yes if you are interested I will go on the hunt and measure up, just let me know please.
 
Yes I would be interested depending on dimensions and price of course.

Do you want to measure it first and we can take it from there?

Obviously you'd need to post in the classifieds if you are going to sell it but I'd be interested in the dimensions first if possible
 
Sounds good to me (digging out the cupboards doesn't though) and was going to suggest the classifieds bit if its any good

Will summon up the willpower shortly and go have a look for it, will post the dimensions here later on

Found it along with another smaller Toploader, chess computer, four screw in chair legs and some spare filters for a Dyson

Quite hard to measure it empty, but my best estimate is 28cm deep, front to back 20cm and width 17cm. Tried it with a 5D and there would be room for that with a grip so reckon you would be fine with a 6D (think its a bit smaller)

Shoulder strap and harness was inside with waterproof cover in the bottom zipped compartment plus one insert which looks like its there to shorten the depth. Zip up mesh pocket for cards in the top flap and compartment on the front for other bits and bobs.

Looked so handy think I will keep it, only joking :) let me know what you reckon please

Yes it should fit and I would be interested. Do you want to post it in the classifieds with what you think it's worth and I'll have a look?
 
In case you decide against the bag tijuana taxi is selling (or anyone else is looking at the thread) I got a Kata Grip 18 which holds my 5d2 with bg-e6 grip fitted and a Tamron 70-200 VC lens attached.
However I then decided I wanted to be able to hold a little more and got a naneu c-9 that has plenty of room for the above and has enough space in the side pocket for my ringflash if I'm taking the macro lens instead.
