I'll be heading down to Torquay this Sunday till the following Friday.

Are there any 'must get to' places while in the area with the camera?

Any help much appreciated

Berry Head near Brixham - well worth a visit and very near Mifsuds!
Dartmoor - loads of places up there as well as the ponies.
Becky Falls - but not sure if they're open at this time of year.
Paignton Zoo and Living Coast.
Buckfastleigh steam station. Also butterfly farm and Otter sanctuary.
Dartmoor Zoological Park.
Mifsuds - well worth a visit and very near Berry Head...

You 'MUST' get to Plainmoor on the Tuesday night to watch the mighty Gulls take on Grays Athletic in our quest to return to the football league.

You could fill the rest of your time with small town and the harbour at Brixham, Cockington Village and the model village in Torquay. There are lots more of nice places - even better when the weather is nice.

Just don't forget the football.

powderham castle
belvedere castle
living coasts [sorry already said]
watcombe beach
exeter cathedral
dawlish warren
babbacombe beach
haldon forest
pennywell farm [kids?]
i could go on and on

Agree with all these but if you can go to Broadsands between Paignton and Brixham on a sunny evening if at all possible

My only visit to Plainmoor was many years ago but I remember that the pasties were fabulous

i live in torquay!!

the harbour can look very beautiful at night, i have some shots on my website.

avon dam is very pretty too, and not too far away.

there really is an endless list as its a beautiful area

Wow, thank you everyone. I'm only there for a few days and I now have a list to last a few months lol.

As much as I like footy, I dont think Lea will go for that despite how good the pasties are

Don't forget Dartmoor. It's only a 30 minute drive from Torquay.
There are also boat trips from Torquay harbour round the coast to Brixham and Dartmouth although not sure how seasonal these are.
Theres also a steam railway that runs from Paignton to Kingswear :)
