Anyone have experience of FlashAir SD cards? I have just got one and I’m using it in a Ricoh GR (aka GR1) and it works very well automatically uploading files over WiFi via the iPad app, BUT on the card the files are correctly named as R103-000x etc and that shows in the EXIF data in the app but when they arrive in “Photos” the file names have been changed to something like fff123fff123fff123fff123fff123fff123fff123fff123.jpg or *dng, everything else is OK!
There does not seem to be any setting in the app to modify the behaviour and it may be a quirk of using it in the Ricoh rather than another marque though that seems unlikely. I’ve tried googling with no success partly because the terms “file, names” and so on are too general and also FlashAir cards are used by developers in all sorts of devices other than cameras — who knew
