total mutt please help with raw and nikon at a loss

last night thought ive got to learn raw

so set d700 to nef [raw] jpeg normal

lossless is compressed and 12 bit i have no idea what these things mean

adobe photos shop wont load them it says wrong type of files the jpegs work fine though

what on earth have i done wrong?i its why i bought photoshop elements to learn this

with photoshop cs3 there's a upgrade button under the help tab - if lightroon is the same use this to get the latest updates for the raw codecs - if not try the adobe site for the latest updates

i have elements 6 cant i use this i realy dont udnderstand any of this at all

Download and install this and it will add support for the D700 (hopefully)
