I confess that I don't know what he was supposed to be representing - if you do please enlighten us

Are you sure he wasn't just a homeless guy getting out of the cold?

Not sure what he's meant for, but I like the way he's looking at you. Have you tried this in B+W? Might draw people to his eyes easier.

I did try B&W but without a lot of work the background becomes too busy.

D7000 was always going to be a temporary whilst I decided which direction to take - settled on the D7100 but it proved to be a lemon so had to cough up for the D800 ... liking it so far

Now do I keep the D3S or get another D800

Never used one but the D3s seems to tick so many boxes and it looks a proper mans camera lol..
