TP Image Advent 2010 - December 26th Advent extention!! Say What!

These are all serously fantastic shots, even my non photographic colleagues at work are coming to see the shot of the day. All great fun and into the Christmas spirit.

Heeeeey, only just checked the thread, to see my shot on the 10th day!!!!

Thanks Yv et al, made me :D all day now!!!!!

Some stunning shots in this thread. Well done all ;)

I cannot begin to describe how absurbly excited I am that I got a photo on here :D:D:clap::D:D! Nor, as Mr Rudesing just said, how many attempts it took to get the shot!

Fab shot Ruth, like how you cant see the camera in shot

Thanks Dave(y)! There's a bit of Photoshopping going on to get rid of the lens (and me!)

Fast becoming my favourite thread, love the idea and the shots.
Well done Yv and all who have contributed, more good stuff to come no doubt.

love that Jon!

Lovely shot Jon, fab DOF

Thanks Carol, Dave, and everyone else who commented. Dave, it was taken with a nifty fifty at f/1.8 to get the DoF.

I have to agree with what's already been said, that is there's some terrific images in this thread and I try to look in daily to see what's next. Well done to all involved, and thanks for selecting mine to be part of it.

Oh and yes Yvonne the tree is up and was beautifully decorated until I knocked it over today and messed it all up.

Cheers for the comments, was taken with a Pentax 10-17mm fisheye.

The whole road (both sides) is done out with loads of lights every year .. the local electricity board must love Xmas.

Loving this thread, very festive.

just wait till police come raiding the hosues for potential drug use lol due to the amount of electric :LOL:

my mates house got done over because of this

he runs his own home servers and loads of pc's

police raided his home after half hour of him laughing at them they realised it was the servers using so much power

Another cracking Robin picture, and yes you can never have to many Robins can you!!! :D

Wow I never expected him to make it on here after seeing such wonderful shots. Thanks for your comments folkes.

A lot of electricity is used to power the heat and lights used to create the right conditions for growing the plants.

Some more great pics here since I last looked in. :)
