TP Lakeside Meet - Damsel Flies

Here's one of mine from tonight's TP Lakeside meet:

I think it's a damsel fly?

nice shoot Dave you were quick mine are still in the camera,
good few hours had by all i think.

The simplicity of the shot is lovely the only little niggle is the loss of detail on its back end.

I think it is a damsel as dragons rest with their wings open.

It’s an immature female, violacea colour morph, Blue-tailed Damselfly Ischnura elegans

Not bad, apart from the stomach bug going around the hotel like wild fire, and then got back to Southampton to find we were 1 suitcase missing :razz:

But very nice, that aside
