Transferring texts messages from old phone to new phone

Before I start transferring all my stuff over to my new phone, is it possible to transfer my messages from my Sony Ericsson K800i to my LG Cookie?

I don't see any means via bluetooth or via phone agent but i don't know about any other mobile phone software

I spent a long time trying to find a way of gettin text messages from one phone on to another. Getting off i finally managed how ever gettin them back onto another phone was impossible. I could be proved wrong though.

I aggree with ianm79 bluetooth seems the only option if its from one manufactrer to another but there is some software that can do it but I cant remember its name its a freebie on a disk I have from a PDA mag will look out for it for you
