Travel and Landscape Photography in China

I am going to China soon, to the Gullin area to do some landscape and people/travel photography!

I am at the moment sorting out my kit profile, for sure I am taking my 16-35 and 24-70, but I am undecided about carrying the 70-200 vs carrying
the 135 f2 and 50mm 1.2 prime + 1.4 TC.

Any thoughts ? I do sometimes use the 70-200 for compressing landscapes but I find the bokeh and the rendering of the 135 f2 for people subjects nicer in a strange way.

Thoughts appreciated.

From my experience in the area you will want an UWA and a short tele for landscapes and then whatever lens you will use for portraits. The 16-35 and 70-200 would be a good two lens set-up

Appreciate yur thoughts and practical experience, hmm a 50mm could be useful then too.

I'd go with the 135, as you say it is lovely to use. If you're concerned about reach take a 1.4x converter, it works really well on the 135, gives you 189mm f2.8 which is quite useful, but takes up much less room than taking another lens.
