Hi all,

Im after a lightweight laptop for travelling. I want to be able to run lightroom 2 and elements 6. Decent amount of storage and a decent screen. Screen size approx 13-15 inch.

Really dont know where to begin.Apple, Acer???? i know its not ideal for photography work having a screen this small but on the road i want to be able to
edit photos (only small edits, dodge, burn etc nothing major like lots of layers)
Be able to connect to the web to upload to my website / blog
Burn backup copies of phtos to disk etc
Surf Net
Any ideas welcome as at the moemtn I am totally lost. I dont mind buying second hand either. budget....let say £250 to start with...

I got one of these HERE i got it from staples for £550, i know it's above the budget you mention but you did say £250 to start, I've found it great just the right size, and plenty of hard drive and RAM for travelling with.
 
pretty neat, but yeah slighthly above my budget im afraid


All the ones in my budget seem to be about 3kg, on top of my camera gear i will be carrying a tonne!!
