Looking for suggestions about good travelling tripod. It should be light (<1.7kg and a small - folded length <50cm). Therefore 4-section rather than 3 section model as I want to be able to pack it to a suitcase when travelling. Maximum or minimum height, center column, etc is not that important for me.
Should be able to handle my D700. The heaviest lens I would like to put on its 300mm f/4 tele-lens (sometimes with 1.4x extender so 420mm effectively). Would be great to have a contringency for one class bigger lens - like sigma 120-300/2.8.
My max budget is £250 (excluding ball-head - I already have one)
