My first (and possibly last) Treecreeper this year. They havent slowed down since last year :bonk:

Being self critical, I should have held the camera in portrait mode to give the bird a little more room. Cropping it from landscape to portrait has made it a little tight in my opinion. Happy to get the shot though.

C&C welcome as always

Nice capture Nigel, good bird detail of this often skitish little bird.

Regards: Gordon

Nice shot Nigel, not easy getting a shot of these, they are always on the move.

Always good to see,and very well caught (y)cracking shot.
Clive.

Nice shot of a tricky little bird Nigel - these are never easy so they're always a welcome capture.

You've just got a pretty heavy green/yellow cast going on there which is basically a wb issue. I've tried to get the colours as close as I can from a jpeg but you'd do better going back to the raw file and using the eye dropper looking for a good clean white.

Use this shot as a colour checker if it helps.

Thanks Cedric. Now I see your image, its chalk and cheese. I used the cloudy WB setting which normally warms the image slightly, so I'm wondering how I've managed to get the green/yellow cast

I'll give the processing another crack when I get home tonight to see if I can improve things.
