One thing in the garden that has been bugging me for years and never got around to it

The trellis arch below was supported by a tree branch fixed between the fence and arch top. This was screwed in at both ends. So this afternoon I decided it was about time I fixed it.

well the branch was rotten and supported nothing and the bottom of one arch side had completely gone.

So out with the branch and a couple of support stakes banged into the ground. other side a new piece of wood to provide a new base which can be seen it the photo. Couple of cable ties as clamps. Total cost £0 had odd bits of timber in the garage. Not perfect but better than it was

what does it do? well we have roses bushes the grow there and it supports them
