Blue Tit taking advantage of a Woodpeckers home left vacant.
These were some of the first pictures taken with my new Nikon D500 received yesterday - I think I need to spend a little more time with the auto focus modes and do some fettling.

Maybe it's a Green Woodpecker they are quite big ?

There's a Church with a Cedar shingled steeple around 100 yards away with large holes which have certainly been created by Woodpeckers. This has prompted me to suggest that the hole has been made by Woodpeckers, although as stated above, I am very happy to be corrected if someone knows better.
