I shot a couple of rolls of Tri-X and must admit I wasn't that impressed, they were a bit flat and lacked contrast. Perhaps I was using the wrong developer, but it put me right off Kodak B&W
Tri-x is that way. Some people love it and others are not so thrilled. Since it is true black and white, part of the problem is that there are few developers who can do it right.
I used a bespoke Jessops developer (Infosol I think) which may have been a bit passed it's shelf life, so maybe I'll give it another go sometime. But I'm into Fuji Neopan at the moment.
