Beginner Trip to Padley Gorge

Good afternoon all! Had a great day out dodging showers in Padley Gorge yesterday. First time out with my new Sony A6000. Just getting back into it after a long time away from photophraphy. All comments and critiques are very welcome! Thanks.

It's a great place isn't it?

As Jan says, they are not showing in your post but I had a look through your Flickr and you've got a nice set of shots although I would review them and find your "winners" out of the 17 in there. Some are just capturing the water in a long exposure, others have much more strength of composition. I also like the old millstone one

Thank you very much! It is about a 15 - 20 minute drive from Sheffield. Very close to the Fox House pub in the Peak District.

The whole area is a photographer's day out - Padley Gorge is always good if the weather isn't playing ball and you can then get a sunrise/sunset at one of the many many sites nearby
