Trip to the Yorkshire Dales

Today myself and a friend of mine, another TP'er went off to test our new gear out in the Yorkshire Dales, here's what I got. I generally don't do landscapes, in fact I think this is the 2nd time in as many years... all hand held. Dust bunnies are included free of charge.

As said 2 & 5 are the stand out ones for me, with 2 just edging it!

I love the composition of it and the clouds adds some drama to the sky! :D
 
Ye No.2 for me as well, but not a bad en in there.
 
Looks familiar! Was it near Cracoe/Rylstone area?
That sure looks like Swinden Quarry in #3.
 
I'm liking 7 & 8 tbh, the detail and contrast of the grass works well. Then the rolling hills is nice too, boosting the sky would have helped though.

What a nice landscape we have up here :)

2,3 & 5 are lovely, are these around the Ribblesdale area ?
i'd love to go there with snow around, you've caught the seasons colours well.
 
Thanks everyone, I've never really attempted to do landscapes before but maybe I should take it more seriously!

Yeah wontolla, I think you're right, sounds like that's where we were!

Now, if only I had a decent tripod...
