Tripods I have a canon 60d my longest lens is a tamron 70-300. I am looking for a tripod light weight but sturdy, flippable centre column, budget £100 absolute maximum, cheaper the better x. To be used for some macro, try out HDR, general out and about :)
 
I've said it before but as a general rule with tripods you can choose two out of three of lightweight, sturdy and cheap, you can have sturdy and cheap but heavy, light and cheap but not sturdy or lightweight and sturdy but not cheap.

The Manfrotto 055XProB at £105 from Amazon is good value for a very good tripod, not particularly light but sturdy and has the horizontal column. You would need a head if you've not already got one.
 
The Manfrotto 190xProB is the slightly smaller (and hence lighter and cheaper) version of the 055xProB - again, you need a suitable head.

If these are a bit over your budget, then a lot of people use RedSnapper tripods as a budget choice;

You won't get the sideways option on the centre column, but they are good value if you're on a tight budget.
