Tripod and head for a 100-400mm

Hi , not normaly i tripod user when i go out with my 100-400 but since adding a 1d mkii n to the lens it's quite heavy,however i am looking for a mid range tripod and head to suit the 100-400 ,the head is a bit more important to me than the tripod ,i would want more ease of use from a head,don't mind to much weight from the tripod but carbon fibre would be nice ,looking to spend £250 for both ,any pointers would be apreciated.Thanks
