Could anyone advise me if the tripod collar's of the 300mm F/2.8 non IS and IS models is the same?
 
Hi Al, Did you have any joy on this rather old post or perhaps find an alternative collar. Before I bite the bullet and fork out over £200 for a blimmin OEM I would like to explore all possibilities, i just read on another forum about other collars fitting but they were really really old posts!
