IMG_8621.jpegDoes anyone know where I can get a replacement rubber foot for my Slik PRO 714CFII?

All the replacements I’ve found online are just plain rubber, they don’t allow the spike to be screwed through the foot.

Any help much appreciated. Picture for info.

Any good?

I have searched various UK sites, Slik Global and Slik US and I cannot find the feet for your tripod on any of them.

Slik US

Perhaps contact Castle Cameras as they seem to be the main UK supplier.

Thanks folks, I’m sure one of them will do the job. I was struggling to find the exact fit

Have you tried contacting Gitzo Customer Service? I have bought many replacement parts for gear that I own, even for a 28 year old tripod. It took a week for them to find it in their warehouse, but they did and sold it to me.

His tripod is a Slik. Not sure I follow

OK, sorry I missed that. Somebody in the conversation had referred to Gitzo, and it must have changed my memory while reading. Just call the Customer Service for the Brand of gear that you are looking parts for. Most that I have called in the last 45 years have been very helpful.

I have ordered parts for Slik tripods by contacting their Customer Service, as I own two Slik 212 Pro tripods and use them frequently. If I use a tripod, it is most likely going to be one of my Slik 212 Pro tripods. If I remember correctly, what I needed when I called was a new crank handle, bought about 12 years ago. On another parts order, B&H sold me two of the magic camera attachment bolts for the quick attach function of these Slik tripods (the special 1/4-20 bolt that attaches to the camera). I bought two of these from B&H - one to replace the one that got lost, and a spare to have for the next time. I sometimes use the spare for a second camera during a shoot, so I can switch cameras more quickly.

I have accumulated about 10 tripods of various ages, sizes, and brands, but the Slik 212 Pro are what I use most often, and they are about 25 years old now. They have been perfect for how I shoot, and although they are not light in weight at about 5 lbs, I'll still take one with me to field shoots. Their stability and features have been perfect for my needs. I had been using one of them in my studio, but about 5 years ago I bought and began using two Regalite-Six camera stands, since they require less floor space, so now better for me to use in my small studio.
