Tripod head recommendation

Hi looking for tripod head recommendation. It is to be paired with a feisol ct-3372 tripod. The head is to be mainly used for birding and landscapes so I was thinking maybe a ballhead as a dedicated landscape head would be too slow for shooting birds. Feisol seem to have a good ballhead anybody any experience of this head?

How much gear you want to put on it?

My preference would be to get a markins ballhead, or a slighthly more affordable PhotoClam.

Hi, the largest would be a Nikon d800 with 300f4 plus tc also 70-200 f2.8 so weight wise isn't too much.
