Help lol

Have approx £50 to spend .. Need one wig a had already don't want to have to buy it as extra.

Don't care about lightweight. I prefer it to feel solid and sturdy - not heavy but chunky if you like.

Any recommendations or links for me?

The tripod .. Isn't that very light? Im looking for chunky .. But if you say there good then perhaps I'll give it a go ..

Is £49 Inc postage?

The monopod weighs 560g. Thats not much use to you though. The tripods are all over 1KG even the CF ones.

I like the one that £99 on offers page .. Anyone have any experience with it?

And does the £99 one have a quick release head too? 1/4 for my 50D?

RSH-528 3-Way Panning Head
A quality 3-way panning head with rubber grip handles for ease and comfort in use. The 80mm QR plate clips centrally but can be slid forwards or backwards and locked for close up work. A central spirit level allows you to level your tripod.

The 'QR' in this description means quick release

As a footnote that tripod and head weighs close to 3kg

I like the height of the £99 one. But 80mm? Is that 1/4 sized? And also is it quick release head? I dont understand lol

The 80mm is the size of the plate, not the thread. 1/4 is standard, pretty much any tripod you can buy has that thread. If it says QR plate, yes its quick release.

Plate fits to bottom of camera (using the standard 1/4 screw), plate clamps to top of ballhead with a quick release screw.

If you look on the website there is a picture of the ballhead, which clearly shows the plate

So it will it my 50D and it will be quick release lol?

I think we are getting there Danny :D

Yes and Yes ... if you look at the bottom of the page in this link KIRK you will see an animated illustration of how it works.

Although this is for a Kirk head and plate, the Redsnapper system is similar in how it works .
