Tripod leg covers

I know there are a few on the market, and also looking at doing the pipe lagging. Is there anything else that you can buy on the street that can be used?

Bike handlebar grips, chuck them in a jug of near boiling water first then they slide on much easier

Can get the older style foam type or the newer rubber ones, any bike shop or Ebay should have a good selection

I like your thinking, may have trouble getting them over the locks though.

Legs should come apart if you dismantle the locks, I have both twist and lever type, legs are removable on either.

Suppose it depends on what tripod you have, mine are Manfrotto and Gitzo, so can only speak for them.
