Tripod mount screws

Hi all
I'm trying to make a off camera flash bracket for my G1. I've got a cheap ball head tripod mount from Jessops to mount the flash on but i'm stuck finding the screws i need. Can any body out there let me know the size i need for the camera and for the ball head.

Both, one male, the other female.

On second thoughts, depends on the tripod. The major makes have a 3/8", but usually you can pop them down on a spring to turn it into 1/4".

Plenty of suppliers on ebay. When I was looking they were selling a few of them for only a couple of quid. Just search '1/4 whitworth'

Any hardware/cycle/car acc shop should sell them.
