Tripod Recommendation

Is that tripod legs, head or legs and head? It's a small budget... especially if mounting larger lenses. £120 would just pay for a bracket to mount to a tripod

I'd recommend a velbon or manfrotto, I have just brought two of the latter and I'm very impressed with them :D basically look for something that can carry a little more weight than you plan to put on it  light enough for you to not mind always having it with you as a heavy tripod that you never want to carry is useless, but it needs to be reasonably stable and versatile

This is a modern version of what I just replaced and mine was very good it's put up with years of abuse in my hands being chucked around dropped etc

I've been using a Manfrotto 055xb for a few years mainly for bird photography, lately been mounting a 1d body, a heavy gimbal and a 500mm lens. It handled all that with ease and certainly fits in with your budget.
I've just replaced it with the carbon fibre version.
