Tripod - velbon 600R

Hi all

I'm looking for a tripod for my Canon 500D and I'm just hoping for some advice. I've seen the Velbon 600R for around £70 on amazon and was wondering if anyone has one or any other recommendations for tripods under £100.

It would be for landscape/outdoor use mainly. The weight isn't too much of an issue.

Yeah, I have one - paid about £50-£60 from Jacobs in Victoria London.

It's a really good tripod for the money, not too heavy though, so you might need some weights if you are in a windy area.

A friend of mine bought the 600R and my OH is using the 550R. Both good tripods for the money, the 600R also has a removable centre column, which the 550R doesn't.
