Tripod

After a recent week long shoot I have come to appreciate that my tripod is not up to the task. I am after something not too heavy and £150 at the most complete with head, either pan or ball.

I am starting to shoot more landscapes but am trying some wildlife as well.

I liked the look of this giotto below, as it had the option to convert into a monopod as well as being light for an aluminium one.

Any comments on this or other options in my price range would be much appreciated.

I haven't tried Giottos legs although I do use Giottos heads which I've been happy with.

Legs wise I'm really happy with my Manfrotto 055XProB, it is good and tall, very sturdy and not too heavy.

+1 for the Manfrotto 055XProB. Very sturdy tripod.
