Sorry, but there are no decent tripods for that price!
You could try FeeBay for a second hand one, but it will not be decent unless you get VERY lucky!
 
If it where me I would be saving a little more.

You can get them for that price but you willl soon see why they are sold for that and why some are priced alot more.

Red snapper sell really good gear, alot of people on here will agree with that.
My advice with this and anything else you buy get the best you can afford.
That one in the link will do the job nicely, it all depends on how you plan to use it.

I bought a real cheap one and the first time of using it told me i should have bought better, I now use a giottos one.

Reddsnapper gear is excellent, the only downside for me is the twistlock legs, I hate them with a passion! But thats for you to decide!

thanks i suppose with the twistlock legs, it would be my first tripod so i wont know any difference, it looks a pretty good tripod,
 
I have a redsnapper amongst others and its ok for the money. For a first tripod it should be fine, certainly will last longer than a £20 pile of crap.
 
On the redsnapper, cant stand them.. lol. On my giottos vitruvian, absolutely fine.

But like you say, if you havent used anything else, you will not know the difference.

It depends on what you want to use on it, how frequently you will use it and how you will treat it.

I would recommend the HAMA Traveller Mini Pro tripod.

I have a Heavier duty Manfrotto 055 tripod but wanted something light and small to travel with, but because I don't use a tripod frequently and I didn't really want to spend big money on a carbon fibre travel tripod. I thought for £20 from amazon I might as well give the Hama a try as it claims a 10Kg load?(doubtful I admit)

I could not believe how good this tripod is for £20. I used it to hold my Canon 5D MkII with a 50mm lens for long exposure seascapes with no problems. It also extends to a reasonable height, is light and comes with its own case.

Ok, Even though It feels sturdy for such a small and light tripod, I wouldn't use it in strong winds or to hold a canon 70-200mm lens but I wouldn't do even if was made of Carbon fibre.

I effectively saved myself £250 by trying this instead of a buying a Travel Carbon fibre model. I would recommend you give it a try If you want a light travel tripod.

I used to have that tripod- it was really fantastic until the head lost all tension. It couldn't hold a 1000D and Tokina 11-16 in place. :(
