Tripods....

Hi All
I currently have a manfrotto aluminium tripod and ball head that weighs just over 3kg. I have started doing alot more hiking to get to destinations and am looking for suggestions on a lighter tripod but something that is also stable (I know it's a trade off). It will be holding a nikon d750 and upto a 70-200 lens. I have been looking at benro online however I can't seem to find a shop anywhere near me that stocks either them or different tripods where you can actually go in and see/test one. I'm based around Nottingham area so if anyone can recommend either a shop or a decent lighter tripod I would greatly appreciate it.

The current Gitzo Traveler series are great, very rigid and tall for tripods that are as light and pack down as small as they do. Unfortunately they aren't cheap. The Wex price on the GK1545T-82TQD kit I have is good (by Gitzo standards) at the moment: https://www.wexphotovideo.com/gitzo-gk1545t-82tqd-series-1-traveler-carbon-exact-tripod-kit-1578808/ and Gitzo/Manfrotto is sweetening the deal with a free camera bag (though that offer ends today).

Gitzo Traveller in my case.

Mine was bought used for £140 - my brand new Gitzos were pretty cheap too. I am on a low income so I cannot afford the Gitzo copies, I have found (have 4 of them!) the originals to be cheaper - if you are patient.
