In jet- propelled mode as usual. These were at 1/500th and I still got some blurry ones!

Yup, 1/500th is only just fast enough for these, I've had blur at this speed as the bird has shuddered at the sound of the shutter!
 
Plenty sharp and loads of detail :) My only crit being is that they look a little flat being against a white/light background...but thats circumstance!
 
Thanks Phil. Yes these were in the shade and very strongly back lit. :puke:
