Trouble focusing..?

Looks interesting, but seeing as it's a small beam and not spread over a larger area, will the subject distance changing not mean you will have to constantly recalibrate it with the focus points? Seems an awful lot of money for something which is essentially not much more than one of those laser pens you can get for £0.99.

EDIT: Just noticed it isn't even linked to your shutter/focus button on the camera and you have to manually press for the laser light. £149.95? Crickey. If they could make one that automatically adjusts to your focus point and is linked to your shutter (just like a flash gun really) then that would be worthwhile! :)

im just in the process of making a laser pointer to fit to the flash mount, using a dead flashgun and a ebay laser pointer.
dismantled the pointer to get the laser bit and simply put it in the old flash gun case, will be modified to use the flash gun batteries. Just needs some way to align the beam.

I'd love to see that used in London during the olympics  You will never miss your target again :D
