Wasn't expecting much from this but in the end it turned out to be one of the best days I have had at Brands recently.
More than anything else, the whole programme was a lot of fun, apart from maybe the Formula Woman which I have to say was well, driven like a bunch of girls! (ducks from incoming feminist flak)
The rest was great!
So, headliners first, the trucks! All I will say is that photos or TV footage of these monster really doesn't capture the sheer power or size of these things on the track - its a real spectacle!
Something I've never seen before are the Legends. These things look like some sort of ZZ Top car but are nimble, swift and powered by a large motorbike engine of some sort. Looks like a cheap form of racing and the field is VERY large, which makes it rather crash happy - light contact is allowed in this series!
There were also some what I would call "classic touring car" type things (minis, escorts, sierras etc) but haven't sorted any of those out yet - but they were good fun too, really going for it!
