I haven't posted on here in a while as due to life issues I give up photography for a while, but am getting back into it now. Below are a few pictures I took last weekend in my garden when the weather was sunny. I am trying out the Raynonx DCR-250 Macro lens as this is the first time I used it since buying it due to having shoulder and neck issues. It was a big learning curve so please be gentle lol.

Good start with the 250. It can be quite tricky to use because you don't have much latitude about how far you are away from the subject - get outside of the acceptable range and you won't get a properly sharp photo. I use the less powerful Raynox 150 most of the time for insects, spiders etc, and that is easier to use than the 250 because it is less fussy about the distance. For plants I generally use the Canon 500D close-up lens, which is even less powerful and even easier to use.
