Trying to get back into it

Not had lots of time to use the camera except for candid stuff really. Will make more effort in 2018 to do more! Just a few taken since I last was on here

New job from last August and been crazy busy in the last few months! Hoping to shoot more this year!!

No, same profession just a settling in period and busy winter months (ICU has been particularly busy over the winter period).

Mainly just use the camera briefly when friends are about. Plan to get the lights out a bit more...

Used my daughter's d90 to make sure it still worked

I bet. Good to see you back. Think I find myself similar to you in juggling a busy day job and trying to do the same with this. Am planning to plan this year and make sure I do a few projects of my own.

I do like the location stuff, really atmospheric.

The first one.. not so sure, the lighting is lovely but it doesn't really suit her face shape.

Totally agree. Only just managed to get some definition camera right with her jaw - needs more shadow rather than the expose all lighting!
