Tufted Puffin

Some pics from a visit last month to the Living Coasts centre in Torquay. Well worth a visit, it's a huge aviary that you go into with all the birds.

Anyway, the tufted puffin is a Pacific rim bird and really rather cute.

Number 4 is underwater and taken through glass.

I like them all. #2 is unusual but #4 is my favourite. I am sure that the capture was difficult and the result is something we don't often see. Well done.

Nice to see that you are still about Mr Grumpybadger and still pulling off the nice wildlife pics.

And these are better than IanC_UK's puffin shots because you didn't stack rocks on them to stop them flying off like he did. :nono:

Thanks guys. They are interesting birds. I must admit I didn't know there were other puffins until I visited this place.
